Juwara Resources & Trading (M) Sdn Bhd is an established Malaysian company specialising in integrated cleaning and facility management solutions. The Challenge
The project began with a large-scale IT upgrade — Juwara required 10 sets of professional-grade office PCs complete with genuine licensed software to enhance staff efficiency. As operations grew, Khalbyte was further entrusted to supply additional IT accessories, upgrade network infrastructure, and revamp the company’s corporate website with a fresh, modern interface (www.juwara.com.my).
In line with their growing workforce and on-site operations, Juwara also needed a dedicated mobile solution to streamline attendance tracking and task management for field staff. The absence of a centralized system had caused difficulties in monitoring staff movement, task completion, and productivity — prompting the development of the CIC Attendance & Task Management Mobile App for both iOS and Android.
Meanwhile, their legacy HRM system had been inactive and unmaintained since 2015, suffering from outdated frameworks (PHP Laravel and Yii), broken modules, and payroll inaccuracies. A complete system overhaul was necessary to restore and modernize core HR functions.

Corporate Website Revamp: Designed and developed a new modern website with improved UI/UX, enhancing the company’s digital presence.
HRM System Redevelopment: Took full control of the legacy HRM system, performing a full code refactor, fixing critical bugs, restoring broken modules, upgrading outdated frameworks, and adding new features for attendance and payroll automation.
Mobile App Development (CIC Attendance & Task Management): Designed for both iOS and Android, this upcoming system helps manage attendance and on-site staff tasks efficiently — minimizing time theft and improving real-time workforce tracking.
